Which style do you think these landscapes belong to?
At first, I considered labeling each design style, but then I thought—why not let the viewers decide?
Let’s make it a little challenge. Take a look at the images and guess: Which style do you think these landscapes belong to? After all, design is subjective, and we could debate endlessly about which category a project fits into.
Key Features of This Landscape Here, the main characters are yuccas, agaves, and groundcovers. There are no flowering plants, making this a year-round, slow-growing, and nearly self-sustaining landscape.
What About Maintenance? Irrigation? Only during the establishment phase—after that, these plants thrive on their own, like true survival experts. Weeds? Now, that’s a different story. While gravel and crushed stone give a sleek, polished look, they won’t magically eliminate weeds (sadly, miracles don’t exist). A Nice Bonus The planting isn’t overcrowded, and all the plants are easily recognizable. That means your gardener won’t mistake a prized agave for a "suspicious weed" and send it to plant heaven.
So, what style do you see in these images? Let’s hear your guesses!
